Mr. Laten has been acquiring and developing real estate in California, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Kansas and Texas for over 39 years.  Prior to forming Inspired Healthcare Capital’s development company (Nsite Development), in 2002, Scott co-founded RED Group to lead and focus his interest on the development of senior housing. In 2011, Mr. Laten formed Suntereo Companies. 

 

Mr. Laten has worked with and partnered to such distinguished companies as The Irvine Company, California Pacific Homes, Mark-Taylor, Magellan Corporation, Opus Corporation, MorningStar, Liv-Generations, The Plaza Company/Vi Living, P.B. Bell and Inspired Healthcare Capital/Nsite Development.

 

Over more than three-decades, Scott has developed over 6,000 multifamily units totaling over two-billion dollars. During his career, Mr. Laten has been involved in every aspect of value-added rehabilitation of existing properties, to ground up development including site selection, calculating market penetration requirements, governmental entitlements, design, permits, construction management, operations and disposition of conventional multifamily and senior living communities.   

 

Mr. Laten holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate from the University of Nevada.  While attending law school at Western State University College of Law, Mr. Laten was awarded a full-scholarship by the Building Industry Association to the University of California Irvine.  He enrolled at UC Irvine completing the two-year executive program and receiving his professional designation Light Construction and Development Manager (LCDM).  

 

Scott was a real estate broker for over twenty-years.  In his home life, Scott is a husband and proud father to three adult children.  He is a licensed pilot, avid skier, scuba diver, sailor and power boat pilot.
