RED Group converts “recession stopped” condo development to award winning senior housing.

PHOENIX, ARIZONA – RED Group recently opened its newest community at the Southeast corner of 32ndStreet and Glenrosa in the affluent Arcadia area of Phoenix.

Scott Laten, partner at RED Group stated;

“the project was originally designed for forty luxury high-end-condominiums (80,000 square feet). After the subterranean garage and four-upper floors were placed, the economy changed direction forcing a stoppage to the work.

The project sat vacant for years attracting graffiti artists and creating an eye-sore for the community. We proposed a joint venture with the owner creating 110-unit senior community consisting or assisted living and memory care units. The project proved challenging in the conversion and redesign. The City council and neighbors were excited to see the creative change in use.”
